Here at Mousai Ton Theon Studios we publish a wide variety of books, as mentioned in our about us page we like to give everyone that chance in making their dream come true in publishing a book. 


Submission guidelines


Please review the following submission guidelines before submitting your work.

This is how we would like you to prepare your files:


Format


Submit your information as an MS Word or MS Word compatible file. Please use standard fonts such as 

Times, Georgia, Arial, or Helvetica.


This is the information we need you to send:


Author Information


We want to get to know you. Please tell us the following:


• Your name

• Your e-mail address

• Your mailing address*

• Your phone number* (including country code and time zone)

• Your author bio


*Optional


General Book and Short Story Information


We want to get to know the basic specs of your proposed book. Please tell us the following:

• What is the working title of your book (and sub-title if applicable)?

• Are there additional contributors (co-writer, illustrator, photographer, etc.)?

• Is your manuscript completed?

• What is the genre of your book?

• What is the word count?

• Will your book require illustrations, photography, charts, graphs, or other custom design 

elements?

• Do you own the full copyright to the content you are submitting?

• Do you own full publishing rights to the content you are submitting?

• Will you require permissions / releases for any of the content in your manuscript?


Book Description


We want to know what your book is about. Please provide the following information:

• If you are submitting a fiction work, please submit a full synopsis, in 2 pages or less, briefly 

outline the beginning, middle, and end of your story. Much of our final decision will be based on 

how well you describe your story – so make your synopsis compelling! Also submit a synopsis if 

you are submitting a non-fiction work that is biographical, historical, political, based on current 

events, etc.

• If you are submitting a non-fiction, informational work, please provide an annotated table of 

contents. We want to know how your information addresses a problem or need and provides a 

solution to that problem or need.

• Include a 50-100 word promotional pitch that entices us (and readers) to want to know more.

• Include the first 2 or 3 chapters of your manuscript. If submitting a short story, send the first 2 or 3 

pages.


Platform Information


We want to know what you have done in the past and what you are doing now. Please provide 

the following information:

• Do you have any other published books on the market? If so, please provide the titles and 

publishers. We’d be thrilled if you also include links to where these works are listed and / or sold.

• Do you have a website and / or blog? If so, please provide links.• Are you active on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and similar social media channels? If 

so, please provide links.

• If you are submitting a non-fiction work – please provide a brief outline of your personal and 

professional experience, degrees, awards, endorsements, and any other information that will 

support your qualifications.

• Do you already have direct access to the market that will have the strongest interest in the work 

you are submitting? If so, please provide details.

If we are interested in moving forward with you, we will ask you to email the full manuscript.


While we strive to contact authors within 2 weeks if we are interested – it may take a little longer. Please 

allow at least 4 to 6 weeks before you send a follow-up e-mail.
